This is such a refreshing take on building customer loyalty. I hadn’t really thought about how much being generous can change things. Your tips about consistency and good service are right on. I recently started using LoyallyAI for my moving service, and it’s really helped me streamline the customer feedback process. Knowing what my customers want keeps them coming back, and it feels great to have that connection.

I’ve been evaluating movers and had a manager reach out to me on the Sunday after the estimate was sent. He asked me how he could earn the business. This was good! I told him what was important to me and he responded that he would have the sale rep contact me on Monday to discuss. This was very awkward. He turned something good into a major red flag by asking what he could do and then punting it back to the sales rep a day later. They will lose.

Hi, how would you go about hiring employees when you first start your moving business? I'm just starting out and I don't have a lot of customers but I want to focus on scaling instead of working on the truck. Where do you find movers that can do the one off jobs for you?

Would you recommend taking out an sba loan to start like this? Have been running a moving business for a year and a half exclusively on a referral basis and are consistently doing over 100-150k a year in sales on that alone. Are just starting to launch our first PPC campaign and are building out our SEO. I am 26 no family not a ton to lose at this point so wondering if taking out a small to medium SBA loan would be a smart way to launch and leverage the business.

I have been in the moving industry for 25 years. I started off as a laborer and went to a driver and now I'm in sales. Still waiting to make my first million and actually dream about not struggling. I'm too old to find something new. Terrible industry to get into.

hey, I have a deal here where I am subcontracting to a gentleman and he gets 70%. I get 30% of gross, but I don’t need to carry any of the insurances. I don’t pay for the rentals I don’t pay for the gas. All I paid for is the software we used to book and to charge customeris this a good deal? I mean, I’ve been in a business 22 years. It seems like a good deal, but sometimes I don’t know if I’m getting everything that I could get if I just maybe tailored be the Soul owner and just being more organized.

Hi there, I hired movers and they showed up 6 hours later, showed up at 7pm, they first start negotiating the tips saying the company will charged me for heavy items and a distance walk which isn't too far and a flight of stairs of $600 so for me to pay them each $150 a total of $450 and they will just takecare of everything for me. I knew they were samming me as i was qoutes $200 for the truck and $200 each hour i use. I was desperate because i need to move waited all day and bow its night time. They gave me no choice, i fear that if i didn't tip the boys what they wanted, they would destroy my items or just leave. So i agreed and they didn't handle my items nicely it was destroyed and my furnitures were brand new, 2 months old only. I would tell them how to handle one item and they would do the opposite. I have it was camera. Have been dealing with the claim people for weeks and and nothing, they told me .60 cent per pound as that the state guidelines. It was a joke. First the workers extorted money out of me, took advantage of me, poorly handle my items and refuse to take my request to prevent damages and thats a joke with teh 60 cents per pound. Please give my advices on how I can deal with this. Its Collage Hunks Guys, the company.

Moving furniture is a free gym my guy...I've always jumped in the yard on days off. Landscaping and agriculture. Real work is way better than treadmills and exercise machines...or CrossFit type stuff. It makes a big difference doing actual work rather than mock work.

Louis you are spot on as what you said in this video. I have run thousands of moving jobs and the three things you pointed out in this video was the way I operated. What gets me that what came to me as common sense is that even after going through what you said in the video and giving numerous illustrations as to how important it is to make a first positive impression and the benefits of that to the company and them the employees most movers fail miserably. I would say 10% of movers get it, the rest are sadly a group of people with unhealthy subconscious's that are internally programed to fail. That is why they do not see what you and I see, which is obvious to somebody with a healthy mindset.
